Certificate Of Sponsorship (COS)

This is what a certificate of sponsorship looks like for an MTI post. It is a document of vital importance without which you cannot apply for the visa. It briefly tells details about you, your post, your expected income any banding (on calls). It also states whether maintenance will be provided for you an your dependents. This document is issued by
Academy of Medical Royal Colleges (AoMRC) once you have have sent all the paper work to your trust, have taken a date for GMC ID check and your trust has submitted all the paperwork to AoMRC. The details on how to what paperwork is required is mentioned here documents, GMC, IELTS. Usually the COS for MTI doesn't take too long compared to Tier 2 jobs because Tier 5 visa is a Government Exchange program which can not be extended beyond 2 years and there is no chance of people applying for ILR (Infinite Leave to Remain). So this can be another way of getting COS and coming to UK if people are stuck with Tier 2 visa job COS being delayed or rejected.
