How to prepare for an interview of uk Birmingham scholarship programme?
ReplyDeleteYou can read about interview tips and techniques here
Deletehttps://mtiviacpsp.blogspot.com/2018/04/how-to-maximize-your-chances-of-getting.html
Hi, I had a interview for mti program in Walsall, they told that results will be announced within three weeks, now more than 6 weeks have lapsed but have't heard anything from CPSP, so is this delay normal or they might have selected the right candidates??
ReplyDeleteYou can expect delays as the decision comes directly from the hospitals, CPSP doesn't play any role in it but you can call CPSP and find out.
DeleteHi , can you please let me know does having a prior GMC registration increase your chances of being selected in the MTI programme ? I have cleared both PLAB1 and PLAB2 but due to personal reasons I want to do my fcps training in Pakistan. So I am wandering if I should spend my money on GMC registration now if I am interested in the MTI programme ? Please let me know, I will be greatly obliged !
ReplyDeleteThat actually depends sometimes they may reject that you have done plab so this pathway is closed for you but do try your luck at next interviews.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteThank you so much for replying. Can you please elaborate on what exactly it depends on ? Because I have found no information about this anywhere else and I really don’t know what to do. Thank you so much !
DeleteSo officially this pathway is for just limited international exposure thus the visa given is also limited and cannot be extended thus you have to come back for applicants who already have plab there is a high chance they won't come back that's why CPSP or RCP maybe hesitant to select those candidates
DeleteFair enough, that makes sense I guess. So at this point if I want to do my FCPS training in Pakistan should I spent money on getting my GMC registration done or is there no point in that if I don’t want to go to the UK anytime soon? Considering the PLAB 2 exam is only valid for two years, what do you say ?
DeleteI would say get your GMC registration done you can keep the registration long term you will have to give up the license to practice if you aren't employed but you can get that anytime. So get the GMC registration ASAP!
DeleteSo in your opinion GMC registration is definitely worth it even if I don’t plan on coming to the UK anytime soon. Alright, thank you so so much for your help I really appreciate it :)
DeleteAoa!! If i have opted for sub speciality, do I stand a chance at the MTi programme? I have read that it’s easiest to get general medicine there. How do you fulfill CPSP speciality requirements once you come back? Thanks in advance
ReplyDeleteis there any who is working under this program with kids i mean is there any daycare ..number of leaves timings etc
ReplyDeleteHospital have their own daycare but they might be full but you can find other nurseries as well lots of working women. Weekends off unless you are on nights but you get other days off if you do weekends. Timings usually 9-5pm. Do read this as well.

aoa can you guide me regarding epic account?do i need to make epic account for gmc registration when i have been selected for mti via cpsp??
ReplyDeleteSir ,if we intend to work in UK ,we need to provide them experience certificate, which we usually get from hospital after housejob or speciality training with hospital logo on it. Is there any specific pattern of making experience certificate or is it enough which we already have ?
ReplyDeleteNo it should mention exact dates, your role and whether it was clinical or non clinical. And make sure that consultant or HR has an official email id not a Gmail or yahoo. Because GMC will not accept emails from personal email id when it verifies your experience
DeleteIs it compulsory to get all our academic documents attested from HEC and foreign policy office ,if we are moving to UK and to practice in UK.
ReplyDeleteNo it's usually not needed
DeleteAoA
ReplyDeleteWill MTI training count in our FCPS training if we do it after IMM?
Only if it's through CPSP Scholarship Program. CPSP Doesn't accept any other MTI training
ReplyDeleteHi ,can we appappear in plab n mrcogs exams together ,one after another?
ReplyDeleteHello I am on MTI program via cpsp. I joined mti post 8 months ago. When I left Pakistan I was left with 11 months of training there. I have been maintaining my logbook from cpsp on and off. the problem is I am told now from cpsp official here in uk now after 8 months that as I haven't changed my supervisor with cpsp on coming to uk so My training here cant be recognized by cpsp. I never knew that we have to change supervisor after coming here and register with cpsp in the same way as we do in Pakistan. Does anyone have any experience in that? how do we change supervisor here and register with cpsp?? as I have to complete only 11 months of training to give fcps 2, I am still looking for guidance. cpsp officials hasn't responded back to any of my emails now.
