At What level will you work and how much Scholarship from CPSP will you get?

So as mentioned before there are two levels that CPSP will select you Junior or Senior Clinical Fellow. But there is a catch for the junior Clinical fellow although you will be chosen for the specialty you selected but it won't be for 2 whole years you will be have to do General Medicine or as they call Acute Medicine at some point which can be anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. 

This will be conveyed to you during the interview. Where you will need to confirm from them what will your end of 2 year certificate say 2 years of your respective specialty or 1 year medicine + 1 yr your specialty. Junior clinical fellow will get a scholarship anywhere from £30,000 - £32,000 per year  and Senior Clinical £32,000 - 34,0000 per year. All of this will be tax free and CPSP will pay you every month. If you have completed MRCP at the time of interview or after selection you might be switched to Senior Clinical Fellow. But if you do your MRCP during these 2 years you may promoted to Senior Clinical Fellow but your pay will remain that of Junior Clinical Fellow. Everyone has to start at the basic level eventually as you get acquainted to the system, get your mandatory training done along with ALS you will be put on on call Rotas allowed to do more procedures  So basically you need to work your way up no matter how senior you are start at the bottom.
